2011 SCGFFL Schedule

Schedule Features

· All teams play a balanced schedule

· Every team plays games against each Division opponents twice (4 or 6 games)

· Every team plays every conference opponent at least once

· Every team plays the exact same number of conference games (14 games)

· Every team plays exactly 5 inter-conference games

Notes

· DH indicates that SCGFFL teams will be playing Double Headers during that week

· The 2011 NFL Regular Season Schedule includes six weeks where some NFL teams are on a BYE, specifically weeks 5,6,7,8,9 and 11

· A number in parenthesis for a specific week, such as (6), indicates the number of NFL teams on a bye week, per the published 2011 NFL Regular Season Schedule

· The original draft of the 2011 schedule was established while the NFL Player lockout was in effect in the first half of 2011. In order to create a schedule that attempted to provide flexibility should

the lockout last into the beginning weeks of the 2011 season, the first draft had the first 3 weeks of the regular season being almost entirely non confernce games.

Once it became apparent that the lockout was going to end prior to the start of the regular season, subsequent revisions of the 2011 schedule swapped some of these non conference games

out for conference games. This is why the 2011 schedule has a large percentage of non conference games during the first 5 weeks.
